Comprehensive On-Site Medical Support
Your health and safety are our top priorities. The Arlington Marathon is fully equipped with a network of trained medical professionals, emergency response teams, and wellness volunteers to ensure quick and effective medical attention throughout the event. First aid tents and mobile units will be positioned at regular intervals along the marathon route, with central command at the start and finish lines for coordinated care. Our team includes EMTs, registered nurses, sports medicine experts, and physicians from leading hospitals and clinics in the Arlington area.
In Partnership with Local Healthcare Leaders
We are proud to partner with Arlington Integrative Medical Center (AIMC) and local hospital networks to provide professional-grade medical coverage before, during, and after the marathon. Participants can access pre-run checkups, hydration tips, and injury-prevention workshops leading up to race day. On the day of the event, runners and spectators alike can rely on stationed paramedics, roving medics, and cooling zones to keep everyone safe and well-supported. Additionally, emergency vehicles will be on standby in coordination with Arlington Fire and Rescue for critical care response.
Promoting Preventive Health and Holistic Wellness
Beyond the race itself, the Arlington Marathon is a celebration of lifelong wellness. Our medical support extends to lifestyle education and community empowerment. Arlington Integrative Medical Center will host a “Health is Wealth” Pavilion, offering free screenings for blood pressure, glucose, and BMI. Attendees can also learn about the importance of physical activity in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis. By making preventive care accessible and engaging, we aim to inspire healthier choices long after the finish line.
